June 24, 2024 · – Margaret Kingsbury
Good mornin’! Congrats to swimmer Alex Walsh, Nashville’s newest Olympian, who will be joining her sister Gretchen at the Paris Olympics. I’m excited to watch!
Thanks so much to our exclusive launch sponsor Tecovas, our Western wear faves, for their support.

🌈 Local Crisis Center Offers Hope to LGBTQ+ Teens
Centerstone is one of four crisis centers in the U.S. where LGBTQ+ teens can text if they need help. The program launched in Nashville in 2005 and has seen an uptick in use since 2022, responding to about 4,000 interactions per month. They help teens with finding affirming family medicine providers, mental health therapy, community-based resources, and support groups. Text 988 if you need help. [Nashville Scene]

🏈 An Update on the New Titans Stadium
75% of the excavation work has been completed on the new Titans stadium, and more than $150 million has been spent since May. A final expenditure draft should be ready by October, though Metro is still hammering out details. It’s coming, whether we like it or not. [Nashville Scene]
