🧑⚖️ Judge Blocks “Abortion Trafficking” Law
U.S. District Judge Aleta Trauger has temporarily blocked a Tennessee law banning adults from helping children get an abortion without parental consent until it can make its way through the courts. Nashville Rep. Aftyn Behn and attorney Rachel Welty filed a lawsuit against the law earlier this year. [AP News]
🔐 Free Gun Locks for Nashville Residents
After the accidental shooting death of 8-year-old Phillip’e Woodard, MNPD is reminding gun owners that they provide free gun locks. The locks are available at all police precincts, in the MNPD headquarters’ lobby, and the Madison Records Division Counter. MNPD also has a gun retrieval program for anyone who would like to surrender unwanted guns. [Nashville Scene]

🚨 Man Arrested for Threatening to Lynch DA
David Bloyed of Texas was arrested last Thursday for threatening to lynch Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk. Bloyed is loosely connected to the neo-Nazi group that descended upon Nashville earlier this year. [Nashville Banner]
