🦇 Endangered Gray Bats Thriving in Nearby Cave
Tennessee’s endangered gray bat is making a comeback in the Nashville area. In 1986, the Nature Conservancy found only 4,000 gray bats hibernating in Bellamy Cave, about an hour north of Nashville. The nonprofit replaced a fence around the cave, and now the bat population has grown to 350,000+. [WPLN]
