What's CITY Talking About?

🌨️ Snow Plow Routes

Weather forecasters predict 4-6 inches of snow today, and roads could remain icy for days. Nashville plows roads according to priority. 1,800 miles are considered priority routes and plowed first, then secondary routes, followed by post-secondary routes. Crews will work 12-hour shifts to clear the roads. [WPLN]

🚨 TEMA Declares State of Emergency

Ahead of the snowstorm, the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) has declared a state of emergency to help expedite aid if needed. We were already at a Level 3 state of emergency due to Hurricane Helene, and now we’re a Level 4. [WKRN]
