📰 ICE Detains People in South Nashville

Immigration and Customs Enforcement worked with the Tennessee Highway Patrol to make around 150 traffic stops on state roads in South Nashville overnight Sunday. Between 40 and 100 people were detained. Later in the day, amid protesters, two buses full of people departed Nashville’s ICE office to an unknown location. In a statement, the mayor's office denied any MNPD involvement, and said they will be seeking the names of those detained. A public meeting will reportedly be held on Wednesday. [Nashville Banner]
