👀 Armored Vehicles and Surveillance Downtown?
Before Thanksgiving, Mayor Freddie O’Connell's office filed a resolution that would give $15M of state public safety grant funds to the Nashville Downtown Partnership. Based on the immediate backlash, some Metro Councilmembers expect the resolution will be deferred at their Dec. 4 meeting. [Nashville Banner]
- In a statement to City Cast Nashville, the mayor’s office says that NDP's planned expenditures are “already permitted by Metro.”
