📝 Metro Council To Consider Anti-Tunnel Resolution

Councilmember Delishia Porterfield has filed a resolution expressing opposition to the Music City Loop, citing “unresolved concerns regarding safety, labor practices, transparency, environmental impact, geological risk, and lack of meaningful engagement with Nashville residents and their duly elected representatives.” Metro Council will consider the resolution on Dec. 16. 🏘️ ‘Intentional Chaos’ at Court

Nashville was one of several cities suing HUD. It’s still unknown whether HUD will reinstate promised funding to local organizations. [WPLN]

🧑‍⚖️ Inflammatory Facebook Post

Heightened security measures have been implemented to protect local judges after Representative Andy Ogles criticized them in a Facebook post, including their photographs and the phrase “we are at war.” The judges have also requested that Governor Bill Lee help secure the area around the courthouse.
