🚨 Tracking ICE in Nashville

December 12, 2025 · 💌 Margaret Kingsbury

TGIF! It’s the last day of our membership campaign, and the last day to nab a City Cast Nashville beanie!

On a yellow and white polka dot background, a black beanie that says "City Cast Nashville," and text that reads "Sign up now to get our new beanie!"

Of course, becoming a City Cast Nashville Neighbor is about so much more than a hat: It’s about community, and supporting local journalism. As news becomes ever more divisive and less about having conversations, covering local stories like we do here at City Cast Nashville becomes all the more important.

So what do you say: Want to become a member for only $10 a month, or $100 a year?

Thank you SO MUCH for reading the newsletter this year, and being part of what I love most about Nashville — its people. We take care of each other. I appreciate every single one of y’all.

Furball Friday

As with most pet parents, Susan’s camera roll is filled with photos of her two furballs, and all the photos she sent me melted my heart. These two Siberian siblings (Kacper, all white, and Szymon, tan) are literally inseparable, though they are about two and a half years apart in age. Susan says it only took a day for the two beauties to become BFFs. They must be in the same room at all times, and travel through the house together! 😻😻
