🌉 Metro To Cover Cost of Pedestrian Bridge

Some Metro Councilmembers have raised concerns about the deal between Metro and TPAC for the nonprofit’s new venue on the East Bank. Originally, TPAC would have covered improvement costs to the adjacent John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, but now Metro will cover those costs, estimated at $21.7 million or more. Councilmembers also expressed uneasiness over the uncertainty of the bridge remaining open during construction. [Nashville Scene via Nashville Post]

🏛️ Senate Voices Concerns About Lee Beaman
